GOLF CLUB CLAIM SETTLED

WELLINGTON, April 12
Waiwc/u Golf Club claimed £SOO damages from "Wellington Trotting Jlub for interference with the golf ,-ourse and failure to reinstate it after alterations were made by the Trotting Club in ploughing up portions of the :mks.
The defence was a general also that plaintiffs had failed to comply with repeated requests to state its requirements.
Judge Blair suggested it was a case for agreement, and after adjournment it was settled by defendants agreeing io carry out the necessary reinstatement and pay £75.
CHICHESTER FORCED DOWN
HAMILTON, April 12
Chichester was forced down at Whatiwhnta near Hamilton last night due o a shortage of benzine on the way Tom Wellington to Auckland to atcml the pageant. He resumed his journey at noon to-day.
