TORONTO, April 11
The appointment of a Commission of business ■ men from the various units of the Empire to enquire into factors entering into the promotion or hindrance of Empire trade, and the committee to be maintained as a permanent Economics Council of Empire has been recommended by the Empire Trade Committee of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. The proposal is to be presented to the Federated Chambers of Commerce at London in May.
