The Wanganui Trotting Club’s meeting onened in showery weather, track in splendid order and attendance fail. Innovation Handicap:—(l) Capilancl 1, (4) Lee Nelson 3, (12) Bingen Cross 3. Scr: Tiny Rose, Lady Snips, Mr Gray, Daddy Longlegs, Rita Thorpe Victor Kyle. Won by a neck. Time 3.34. Kirkwood Handicap:-(3) Blue Gold 1, (4) Joyride 2. (5) Peter Eyre 3. Scr: Winehat. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time 3.46 2-5. Easterbrook Handicap : —(2) Harold Logan 1, (6) Lady Yvonne 2. (8) Huia Maid 3. Scr: Musical, Hone Hoke. Short Story, Pumaliaki, Roldina, Alexis. Won by four lengths. Time 3.33.
