LATE LOCALS.
Recent legacies to St. Saviour’s Orphanage include, one of £SO from the estate Of the late Frederick Arthur Wilson and one of £lO under the will of MrS Lucy Henley Palmer, late of Hokitika.
Members of the Black Hand Society are hereby warned by the Highmaster that no excuse whatever will be accepted for their non-appearance at the Kokatahi Tennis Clubs dance to be held to-morrow night. The home made suppers at the Kokatahi dances are well-known, as being everything really worth while, so with a nicely decorated hali. music by the merry boys of the Black Hand Orchestra—the Highmaster himself at the piano—a good night’s entertainment is in store for the danc ing enthusiasts. -
