SHIPPING DISASTER

TWO VESSELS WRECKED IN FOG

Belated reports from Chefoo, the northern sea part, state two native coasting vessels were wrecked in the vicinity in a dense fog. The steamer Lungshan mounted a rocky coast and six hundred passengers were drowned. The second disaster occurred to the Klosainnaru, a Japanese boat which stranded on a rocky ledge. The entire personnel were rescued but the boat is a complete loss.
