CIRCUS TRAGEDY
MAN FALL 40 FEET. (United Press Association. —By ElectricTelegraph . —Copyr igL j.) NEW YORK, March 31. Ilans John, 35, a German performer was killed in a circus when he lost his balance and fell from tbe top of a 40ft pole that was held on the shoulders of his brother, Karl, who, seeing his brother start to fall, leapt forward and threw himself on the ground as a cushion for Hans, but the kittens’ back was broken. He died instantly.
