BRITISH TEXTILE. , United Press Association. — By Electrn lelegrapn.—CopyngL j.) LONDON, March 31. The week-end meetings of the textile workers in Yorkshire have strengthened the belief of the Trade Union Executive that they will cease work when the cuts take eifcct on April 12th.
Representatives of the General Cominittee of the Trade Union Congress are visiting Bradffo’rd, and there is a hope- that the Ministry of Labour will intervene to avert a prolonged stoppage, but at present there is no indications of either side giving way. Prayers for a wise and just settlement wore offered in all the Yorkshire Anglican and Free Churches on Sunday.
