Butter. -New Zealand, first grade 1325, finest grade 134. Demand is very very slow. Mark'd is weak. Think market is approaching bottom. Amalgamated Dairies, Auckland have to-day (March 25) received the Allowing market report from their Condon office : Butter.—Our price Anchor nominal (131 s). Other finest quoted 1325. Market very weak but all buyers short “tooks. Danish, 152 s spot, 144 s f.o.h. Deliveries New Zealand, 1428 tons; ,stock, 7082 tons.
Cheese.—White, 80s; coloured, 82s. Market unnecessarily depressed in sympathy with butter. Canadian unchanged, quiet. Retails generally, New Zealand lid. Candaian matured up to Is 2d.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report ’laving received the following cablegram from their London house, dated 21th instant. Messrs, ,Samuel Page and Son report:—
Butter. —2s per cwt. lower. Now 130 s to 1395.
Cheese.—Prices are Is per cwt. lower. -Now: White, 7.9 sto 80s; coloured h, 81s to 82s.
Messrs. Joseph Nathan have received tho following cable from their Lon-
don principals.— : —- Butter.—Market in very nervous w<>ak state. Prices nominal, 130 sto 1325. Cheese.—White, 80s; coloured, 81s.
