SELECTION OF CANDIDATES. [By Telegraph, Per Press Association.]: AUCKLAND, March 28. The United Party has postponed till Tuesday its meeting to choose its lionunessv mentioned. Among likely nominees mentioned was Air W. Holdsworth,. Chairman of the Auckland Power Board, but he does -not desire nomination..
Mr Bloodwortli is the likely Labour nominee. Mr W. Schramn (an j ex-West Coaster), is mentioned as a possible Labour nominee. He polled 2100 votes against Mr J. A. Young at Hamilton last, ejection. Another lawyer Mr J. - was also mentioned but he is not inclined to accept nomination for the selection ballot. •
Air J. S. Dickson is disposed to enter the Refqrm Party ballot for the selection of.-: .a candidate against Air Jenkins. Mr A. J. Burrows (Dfevonport) is an aspirant for the Reform nomination and will go to the ballot. AUCKLAND, March 28. Mr J. W. Yarnall who previously announced he would be an - aspirant for the Labour Party’s choice at the Parnell by-election, has decided to retire in favour of Mr T. Bloodworth. Another -aspirant, however* , is Airs AI. Al. Dreaver,'a-member oft the Labour Representative Committee, Air R.
