A message . from Hatton, North Dakota., states that Eielson, Hie Arctic aviator, was buried beside his mother in the local cemetery in the presence of hundreds of the' townsfolk and numerous dignitaries. Seven thousand persons witnessed the funeral, when a. half holiday was declared, -alid shops and offices and the schools;"were- closed. A squadron of National Guard aeroplanes droned overhead as the funeral cortege moved to the cemetery.
