Air Snowden replied that the Government viewpoint had been made clear. It would maintain preference
while the duty remained, but was not prepared to continue the- duty in order to give preference. LONDON, Alarcli 26.
Air .Snowden said he appreciated the industry’s serious position hut he was not prepared to anticipate the Budget, or make promises regarding it.
