NEW YORK. March 25
News from aboard the German liner, s.s. “Europa” shows the great new liner needs only fo average a ■•-peed of 26 .point bio knots an hour for thq last 519 miles of ■ her maiden voyage in order to equal the Bremen’s record of last July.
If the “Etiropa” maintains that speed, she will come abreast of the Ambrosn lightship at (i.oO a.m. on Tuesday. If the vessel puts on steam she may be able to Incan the record. .From noon on Sunday to noon on Monday, the “Europa” registered 704 miles, averaging 23 points 10 knots an hour.
“EUROPA” BREAKS RECORD

NEW YORK. March 25
The North German Lloyd liner “Europa” on her maiden voyage arrived at quarantine at 5.4 this morning completing the run in four days seventeen hours, six minutes. She broke the “Bremen’s record from Cherbourg to New York by eighteen minutes, averaging 27.99 knots.
