AUCKLAND, March 25.
A motion that all future matches under the jurisdiction of the Auckland Rugby Union should be played only under rules adopted by the New Zealand Rugby Union, and observed by other Rugby Unions throughout the Dominion, was' defeated by 38 votes to 16 at the annual meeting of the Auckland Rugby Union. Mr G. Nicholson was appointed sole selector in place of Mr V. R. Meredith, who did not seek re-election.
