(From a Correspondent.)

The Ilarihari Gun Club held a ladies day for their week end shoot and it was largely attended. It was originally intended to hold four events but on account of rain setting in the 'programme was postponed after two tad been held and afternoon tea had been served.

The first event, a three bird shoot, for an unknown prize, was won 'by the President of the Club. Air AY. Searle, Senr., who defeated his sow, ALr C. Searle, in the shoot off, alter both had secured the possible. Incidentally the President is the oldest member of the Club. The lucky lady for this event was Mrs G. Searle, and the opening and handing over of this prize, a very handy article, caused considerable amusement.

The next event of nine birds, in which six contestants tied with eight breaks each, was eventually won by Air 'K. Sgarle with (Mr B. Searle second.
