BIG FIRE

ON NEW YORK WATERFRONT

NEW YORK, March 23

A message from Hoboken, in New Jersey, states that a fire there has wrecked a portion of the waterfront, destroying two piers belonging to the Lamport Holt Shipping Line, and more than four hundred automobiles that were awaiting consignment. The damage is estimated at between three and four million dollars.
