GAS TRAGEDY
CAUSE OF MYSTERY

SYDNEY, March 24
Suffocated by the fumes of gas which were- pouring from an old-fash-ioned chandelier in a house at Annandale, Joseph Tait, aged 72 years, was found dead. In other rooms on the same floor, two other occupants, both elderly women, were found in an unconscious condition. The cause of the tragedy has not been discovered. '•*
