WEDDING BELLS

PARK—URQI'IHART. A pretty wedding was quietly celebrated iu the Presbyterian Church at Sumner on Thursday, when Riba Ainslic, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs W. It. Frquhart, late of Hokitika, was married to Eric Leigh, son of Mr and Mrs James Park. Hokitika.

The Rev. W. McAra performed the ceremony.

The bride, who wos given away bv her father, wore a model frock of hydrangea bine charmaleuse, embroidered in old gold. She carried a bouquet of gold roses and blue hothouse floers, the gift of Mrs W. Foster, of MciCormack’s Bay. Miss Ruth Jasper Henry, cousin of the bride, attended as bridesmaid, wearing a frock in pastel shades of pink and blue, and carrying a bouquet of roses and carnations to tone with her frock.

Mr Archibald G. Park, of Wellington, was (best man.

After the ceremony the bn’de’s mother, wearing a handsome frock of black rnaroeain and carrying a bouquet of red rospes, received the guests at the Cadena Tearooms, Sumner. Later in the afternoon Mrs Sydney A. Gropp, sister of the bride, entertained a number of friends at her home, “Glenaven” McCormack's Bay. When Mr and Mrs Eric L. Park left by car for the West Coast the bride was wearing a saxe blue crepe dichine frock trimmed with lemon. a
