POLICE CHANGES. WELLINGTON, March 22. Police changes already reported are in consequence of a rearrangement caused by the growth of chief cities. Dunedin has been brought up to the status of the other three, and detective offices at Auckland and Wellington are to be in charge of commissioned officers holding the rank of sub-Inspector. Senior-Sergeat Ward is promoted to that rank in Wellington, and SeniorSergeant Gibson of Timaru takes charge in Auckland. In Dunedin sub-inspector Cummings becomes Inspector in charge of the central districts. Inspector Lander (Roval "Victorian iMedal) is now attached to headquarters staff here for duty as relieving Inspector for the Dominion.
The penalty of success is destructive criticism. There isn’t a single weakness in the Majestic Radio. That is why every Majestic set is guaranteed. Drop in and talk it over. Models from £oo on view at L. S. Ross’s Music Depot.- 11.
