FROM NEW TREATY

CAIRO, March 21
There, has been tremendous excitement at the departure of the Egyption delegation, headed by Nahas Pasha, the Prime Minister, who are going to London to negotiate the independent treaty with Britain. There were successful scenes of enthusiasm en route to Alexandria. The train avus 'twice stopped by*, people lying; across the track, so as to enable crowds to climb aboard. Once the train was held up for an hour while a mob made a procession along the roof of the train, carrying banners. Premier Naha s Pasha, before sailing on'the Ausonin, said they were going to England with full powers to negotiate, and they hoped for success.
