The whole of t7ie present restricted activities of the Disarmament Conference are still directed to induce France and Italy to reach an agreement by the promotion of negotiations between themselves. This is at present the chief preoccupation of 31 r Macß'onajld, who «>«’J confer wit* Signor Grandi with that object, at the House of Commons this evening, following last night’s conversations with 31. Briand, after learning tluu the hitter was going to- Paris this morning.
