WaBIATE, March 20
One of the best exhibitions of boxing ever staged in South Canterbury was seen last night when A. Campbell (12.4) met A. Cleverley (12.7) for a purse of £IOO. before a large and enthusiastic audience, resulting in a decision for Campbell, after a hard fought spirited contest. Cleverley was down for a count of nine in the thirteenth and fourteenth rounds.
