The “Times” Madrid correspondent states: The Government has issued a note expressng grief at General Primo de Rivera's 1 decease, and anno mcing that his remains will be accorded the military li incurs of a captain’s funeral. The note adds: The late General de RftYera gained the greatest honours and he reached the highest post in the Government of Spain as the result of events and of circumstances which though they have been estimated and criticised different ways, yet represent ■an historic fact, the importance of which cannot be overlooked.

Senor La Cierva, declares that Prime de Rivera died of a broken heart in consequence of his followers desertion and of public execration.
