TRAPPED DIVER. MONTREAL, Jan. 27. The two divers rushed by aeroplane to the rescue of Peter Trans, the diver who as been trapped at the bottom of the Outarde River for 55 hours defended to-day. Trans fell from the waterside while preparing to work on a new lock, and could not rise because his pipe became entangled in a ladder. One o’f them reports that after batling with the current he reached Trans and shook hands several times. Thei > was no response.
