A message from Denver states that three desperate bandits killed two policemen and wounded four other policemen, following on their making a dash upon the State Bank of Manter in Kansas, and their robbing of £IOOO at Eades, in Colorado. Sheriff Hickman was killed when a posse of police attempted to stop the motor car, which was speeding through the town to the W estern Mountain passes. The robbers then tried to double back into Kansas by a circuitous route. Sheriff William Cole and three officers attempted to hold them when crossing the highway at Cayenne "Wells, but the bandits killed Sheriff Cole and wounded two of his men. The bandits tnen captured the polioe automobile and headed eastward.
