Hutt Handicap.—(4) Full Feather 1, 15) Great Charter 2, (2) Vali 3. Scr.—Rational ,11. Won by Half a length; a neck. Time 1.394. Tronthani Gold C'up.—(l) Star Stranger 1, (2) Concentrate 2, (3) Rapier 3. Ccr.—Count Cavour. Won by,a neck-; six lengths. Time 3.32. Jfluritai Handicap •—(4) St. Melba 1; (3) Grecian 2; (1) Pahu 3. Scr.— Havaspot, Fine Acre. Won by a neck; half a length. Time 1.40. OPUNAKE RACES. " PIHAMA', March 17. Opunako races opened in ideal weather before a (large attendance and track firm. Hack Hurdles.— (s) Whisogne 1, (4) Airtight 2, (7) Joke 'Form 3. All started,. Royal Acre fell. Won by three ,lengths; one length. Time 2.47 2-5.
