DEATH CAME SUDDENLY

(Received this day at 12.25. p.m.) PARIS, March 16.

Though Primo de Rivera suffered fijom diabetis he was in his usual health, apart from a weakness following influenza. He breakfasted abed and told his daughters that he had an excellent night and never felt better, but soon experienced a difficulty in breathing and died from heart failure before the arrival of a doctor. The immediate cause was embolism. 'l’he son declared Spain killed Primo, meaning the severe continuous strain of the dictatorship shortened hisvlife.
