TE AROHA, March 14
There was groat interest in the polo tourney to-day, when 500 spectator* watched Waimai A win the Provincial Cup from Matangi A, after a fast anti gruelling game. The scores were even, and an extra deciding clinkka was played. Results:— Junior Cup. semi-final; Cambridge B defeated Waimai C 11 —1. Handicap semi-finals: Waihou B (16) defeated Matangi (8) 20—17. Whangarei (12) defeated Waihou A (1) 13 —6. Provincial Cup, final: Waimai A defeated Matangi A 5—4.
