A large gathering of members of the Druids Lodge assembled on last Tuesday', evening to , welcome the- officers oLthe Grand Executive who were visiting the various Lodges of the district. Bro T'. Mawhinney G.T., and Bio. W. Ham ton G.G. arrived by the morning train and were met by the members of the local Lodge during the day and taken to the various parts or interest, the visitors being highly delighted with what they saw. In the evening the G.L. officers attended a special meeting of the Lodge and rendered addresses on Druidism generally. ; ‘

After the close of the meeting a social was held at which Sister Badlands A;D., presided. The following toast list was done honor to: “The King and the Carder,” proposed by A.D 1 . “G.L. Officers? proposed by P.A, Bro Ballinger, responded to by Bro. Mawhinney G.T., and Bro Hanton G.G. and Bro, Barrowman D.P.; “Sister Lodges,” proposed by Bro. J. Conning P.A., responded to by. Bro. D. Yarworth P.A. Grey, Bro. Hanton G.G. and Mawhinney G.T.; “D.P. Elect” proposed by Bro. Barrowman D.P., responded to by Bro J. Ballinger P.A. “The Ladies” proposed by Bro. Hanton G.G., responded to by Bro. T. Brown P.A. and Bro. Barrowman D.P.; “The Chairman,” proposed by Bro. Hanton G.G., responded to by Bister Bid land, A.D. During the evening several songs were rendered and the gathering concluded by singing Auld Lang Syne and God Save the King.
