Tlie King and Queen visited London Hospital this afternoon and made a lengthy tour of the wards and operating theatres. They had many little talks with the patients. This was the first visit which the King has paid to a hospital since his illness. Their Majesties both take a keen interest in the work of hospitals. TARIFF CONFERENCE. TRIAL DISCUSSIONS APPROACHING. RUGBY, March If. Mr ‘William Graham, President of the Board of Trade, who presided over the Tariff Truce Conference, is expected at Geneva on Thursday.
An appeal has been addressed to other Ministers for Commerce, who are absent to reassemble for the final discussion of the conference.
