A wedding oi' interest, not only in Christchurch but also on the West Coast, where the bride’s late father was a highly-esteemed resident, was celebrated at St. John’s Church, Latimer Square, last Thursday afternoon by the Eev. J. F. Coursey. The bride was Ida, daughter of Airs Winchester Cornwall street, St. Albans, and the late Air William Winchester, of Ross, and the bridegroom was Air William Robinson, of Belfast, Ireland. The bride who was given away by her brother, Air W. Winchester, of AVellington, wore a frock of primrose crepe satin with inset yoke and deep cuffs of primrose lace, while the skirt fell longer at the back, and the waistline was defined with a sash drawn through a rhinestone buckle. Her veil of primrose tulle, forming a train, was arranged with a close-fitting cap held by a double row of orange blossom with clusters at either side, and she carried a shower bouquet of primrose

hothouse flowers. Airs R. I l '. Ronai, of Alothven. who attended as matron of honour, wore a model frock of pimpernel satin patterned in primrose and made with flared skirt and long-sleeved bodice with V-neekline. Her hat was of primrose felt with drooping brim, and she '■■'•Tied a loose posy of apricot flowers. Air A. Robinson attended his brother as best man.
