LATE LOCALS.

At Lake Kanieri on Sunday afternoon considerable interest was shown in a long swim put up from Sunny Eight to Dr Teichelnmnn’s landing, a distance of about 1-i miles. Two lads, M. Davidson and S. Diedricli

set- out together, but the latter was forced to give up when about halfway and was taken into a boat. Davidson carried on for the complete distance. the time being 50-minutes.
