The Test tennis match between Now Zealand and Australia commenced a* Wilding Park Courts to-dav. The weather was cool and overcast, with a light easterly breeze. Australia w all the matches but' one. Generally the visitors were superior in courtcralt speed, and made fewer mistakes. Rescu'd. and made fewer mistakes. R •• suits ( Australian names first): —
Teague lost to Wilson 6—B, I—o Q_q 4—6; Kalms beat France 6—3. R —6, 6—p; Sproule beat Angas 6—l. 6-—2, B—6 ; Donohoe boat Bart lent o—3, 6—2, 4—6, 7—9, B—6. Doubles Kalms and Teague beat Aligns and France 3—6, 6—3, 6—o, 7—5; Sproule and Donohoe beat Bartleet and Wilson 3-6, 6—4, 10—8, 6-2.
