PALMERSTON NORTH, March 5. The holder of the lOOyds senior, 50 yds intermediate, and 50yds junioi Manawatu Championship, Miss Patty Sporle, of Fielding, defeated Miss Molly House, of Wellington, the provincial 50yds champion and recoid holder, in a 50 yds challenge race at Fielding, in 32 2-5 secs, equalling the New Zealand ladies’ junior record established in 1924.
