The new Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, is due to arrive in 'Wellington by the Rungitikei on Wednesday, the 19th of March. He will receive a combined reception here front district local bodies, which will take place on the Thursday evening succeeding his arrival. He will be sworn, in on Thursday morning.
