. SERIQUS EXPLOSION. (Australian Press Association) (Received this day at 1.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Feb'.' 28. Three Serbians received frightful injuries when a charge of blasting powder exploded premiaturely in metal quarries at Berrima. It i.s thought that sparks from an iron tamping rod ignited the powder. The three blown up were found many yards from tiie scene of the explosion. Two, George Grego-vitcli and Frederick Stepni, arc not expected to recover.
