REVOLUTIONS
INDO-CHINESE RISE. ; (United Press Aftsocmoion—Bv Electric Telegraph—Copyright). HONG KONG, Feb. 27. Belated reports show that a fresh revolt has broken out in Indo-phina. It began on February loth, when Revolutionists seized the village of Vinhboa, and entrenched themselves behind the Magistracy - and then killed the French magistrate. Elated by this success the rebels marched into the neighbouring district, and there met a large force of loyal native troops en route.
The loyal force, at first, was defeated with heavy losses, but reinforcements arrived, and the rebels’ progress was checked. Then they were driven back to Vinhboa, which five French aeroplanes bombed, inflicting severe damage. ;i ; Later on Government forces clear>ed the village of the,,Revolutionists.
