EARTH API STOCK SALE. At the above yards on Sjiturd av, AY. Jeffries and Co. held their summer sale when a full yarding of cattle and sheep was entered. A total of 158 head oJ cattle, 169 sheep and lambs and 3 rams were submitted, and practically a total clearance was effected. Prices were distinctly firm and tlic* sale in genera! was equal to the prices re.orded the previous week at Bold Head. Several pens of real good forward steers were on offer and met with keen competition as tne prices will show. A fair percentage of the raiding comprised wtaner calves of good and bad quality.
