FATAL ACCIDENT

NEW ZEALANDER’S LICENSE SUSPENDED.

LONDON, January 16

At iMarylebone Police Court on January 9th there was a sequel to a midnight car crash in Piccadilly on November 18th, when a beauty specialist was fatally injured.

Ainyas Douglas Connell, architect, of Wei beck street west, was charged with driving his car in a negligent manner on that date. He pleaded not guilty.

Connell, who said he was a Now Zealander and an architect, stated that lie came to this country to enter for the Rome Scholarship in Architecture. and won it. It was the greatest prize of the whole Empire for architecture.
