MINISTERIAL VISITS
Air J. O’Brien, M.P., lias advised the County Office as follows with respect to approaching Ministerial visits to the district:—
“While in Wellington two days ago, I took the opportunity of waiting on the Hons. G. AV. Forbes and A. E. Ransom, Ministers of Lands and Public Works, and urged them to state a date on which they could visit AVestland—particularly South AVestland Both Minister's informed me' that L would be about the end of March be fore they could make the trip.
“At present Air Ransom thinks he will make the visit to Okuru, Jackson’s Bay and Bruce Bay per the Tutanekai, landing- at Greymouth and from there visiting South Westland as far as the Fox Glacier. “Air Forbes does not think he wil’ be able to go further south that AVataroa. However the itineraries of the two gentlemen have yet to be fixed. It is doubtful if.they can make ' the trip together as previously intended. Later 1 will advise you tht. definite dates.”
