ENGLAND BEATS FRANCE

LONDON, Feb. 2C.

In the International Rugby Union football match to-day at Twickenham, England defeated France by 11 points to live. For England Reeve, Robson and Peritan scored tries, Black converting one. For France, Serin scoreu and Atnbert converted. The attendance was over fifty thousand including Prince George and the French Ambassador, and many of the delegates to the Naval Conference. The wind was light and the weather was perfect.

SCOTLAND Y. TRFL'ND. LONDON, Feb. 22. The International Rugby Union football match between Scotland and Ireland, played at Edinburgh, resulted in Ireland winning by 14 points to 11. RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP. (Received this dav at 9. a.m.f LONDON, Feb. 23. The International Rugby championship presents interesting possibilities. England, France and Ireland have each won two matches and lost one. Scotland has won one and lost t,wo and Wales has lost two. England is leading on a points average, but has yet to play Scotland nt, Twickenham, while France meets Wales in Paris, and Ireland plays Wales at Cardiff.
