The Prime Minister announced the opening of the meeting ol the Imperial Conference would take place in London on September, 30th Asked what steps he proposed to take to ensure closer economic relationships between Great Britain and the Dominions and 'Colonies, Mr Macdonald said some aspects a.t least of the problem would be discussed at the forthcoming Imperial Conference, and lie hoped some definite conclusions would be reached.
