. HONG 'KONG,'Feb. 19. , sources release details or the Annamite mutiny. Graphic descriptions of the actual fighting are now published, and show tbe mutiny commenced on the mo.ning of the 10th. with attacks in launches on barracks, also on homes of officers, the mutineers using trench mortars. The heio of the fighting was Lieut. Tacon, who led a detachment of loyal Annamites unuer his skilful directions. These iescued the wives and families of French officers at a critical moment. By next morning the Government forces had inflicted a severe defeat upon the disaffected soldiers, whose losses were heavy. • ; On the morning of Feb. 12th. when the funeral of five officers took place bombs were thrown just prior to the arrival of the Governor and his suite, "he assailants wee fired at but escaped. Martial law was proclaimed.
