Mr H. W. Boys, organiser of the railway excursion from Christchurch to Hokitika on Sunday, advises that about 203 people, are expected to make the trip to Hokitika The visitors propose visiting the lakes, etc., and • the motor 'proprietors will provide conveyances at special! rsvtfls. The hotels and restaurants will also, nc doubt, make provision for the influx of visitors. Motor excursions are expected to be arranged to the dredge. Lakes. Mahinapua and- Kanieri, and the Hokitika Gorge. Mr Boys advises that the train hasybeen fixed fo: Sunday;' , as the Railway Departmen' could mot arrange a Saturday excursion.
