The second day of the Rotorua races opened in hue wwcther. 'The attendance was good, and the course taster than yesterday. The tote handled £17,053 against £20,982 last, scar. Results:—
Tarawera Handicap.—(2) Page Boy 1, (3) Mushoor 2, (1) Kairuru 3. Won by a head': half a length. Time 1.45 3-5 ■
Flying Stakes.—(4) Ruapatu 1, (2) Bold Archer 2, (1) Little Toy 3. Won by a head; half a length. Time 1.18 2-5.
Ohinernuti Handicap.—(2) r l humus J. (4) Brampton 2. (7) Red Day 3. Won by a head; a length. Time 1.43. Presidents Handicap.—(4V Maori Boy 1, (3) Lq Carnicas 2. (1) &ir Russell 3. ' Won by half a head; three-quarters of a length. Time 1.42 3-5.
Rennie Handicap.—<4) Grand Spirit 1, (1) Brilliant Lady 2, (5) Tradesman 3. Won by a neck; a length. Time 1.3 2 r 5.
Electric Handicap—(4) White Ringlet 1. (2) British King 2, (1) Abbess 3. Won by a length: the same. Time 1,15 1-5.
