AN INDIAN MOVEMENT
CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE, (Received this dav at 1.5 p.m.) DELHI, February 18. Pandi Jawaharlai, at Ahmedabad stated the Indian National Congress has authorised Ghand.i and others hold ' jng violence as an article of faith to start a campaign of. civil disobed ience, as and when they desire. The committee expressed the hope that in the event of civil disobedience assuming mass proportions all rendering voluntary' co-operation with the British Government, such a lawyers and students receiving, so called benefits, should withdraw co-operation, renounce the benefits and , join in the struggle. The committee- trusts if the leaders are imprisoned that, others wil 1 carry on the congress.
