The “Daily Telegraph” learns on good authority that when Gialdini fled frOm London, he had under his personal control at least £1,000.0(X). irfostly in bearer bonds and actual cash, all of which had been gleaned frdm the 1 fraudulent transactions of the Retry 'Cempani.es. No decision has'yet been reached as td whethe|r the British Government will prosecute him in Italy. If such action is not taken, it will be owing to the difficulty of getting witnesses to attend protracted proceedings in Italy and to the enormous cost involved.
