ELDERLY PLAYERS’ GATHERING

DUNEDIN, February 16

The annual gathering of elderly bowlers was celebrated on the Dunedin Club’s Green yesterday, when 20 rinks took part in the afternoon play. The combined ages of players totalled 6126 years, with an average of 76point 51 years per player. The oldest nlavers taking part were Messrs C. W. Fountain (R-bslyn Club) and T. Mood if (Dunedin Club), both of whose ages exceeded 94 years. Tire weather was ideal for the function.
