QN OUTLAWRY OF WAR.

(Received this day at 8 a.m.) NEW YORK, Feb. 16,
A despatch from Fort Alyers, Florida, states that. Ford would buy up all the navies of the world if he thought * v it would end war, hut he does not believe that it would. He said: “You •annot ston war just bv taking away the weapon that is at hand. Men fought before there were battleships or before there were guns. The only way 1 to end war is to teach the fellows who profit by it, that they can profit more in some other way.”
He intimated tiiat lie might consider buying the warships; ordered to be scrapped by treaties,' and would cut them up and turn their steel into automobiles and tractors;
