MEDICAL DISCOVERY

[United Press Association.— By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. ] MONTREAL, February 14. What is described by the Faculty of Medicine as a “remarkable discovery,” which will contribute greatly to the relief of feminine disorders and to women’s general health and well-being, has been made in the biochemical laboratory of McGill University. It is a new drug. It is announced that the discoveier of the new drug is Dr James Coll ip, who was associated with Dr Banting in the discovery of insulin. Commenting on the discovery, Sir Arthur Currie, the President of McGill University, said: ‘‘lt is a remarkable diseoverey, and it should bring relief and comfort to countless thousands of women throughout the world.”
