AUCKLAND, Feb. 13
It is very doubtful whether the third cricket test between England and New Zealand will be commenced to-morrow. After a long spell of fine weather, light but steady rain has fallen since midday, and there is no sign . of the weather improving. The wicket at Eden Park has been covered in the meantime. The southern members of the New Zealand team, with the exception of Page and Merritt,,arrived to-day. • AUCKLAND, Feb. 13.
A special meeting of the Auckland Cricket Association was held to-night to discuss the action of R. W. Rowntree in not playing for Auckland v. the English team. After discussion, it was decided to accent Rowntree’s explanation, which was withheld from publication.

AUCKLAND, Feb. 14
After twenty-four hours rain there is little prospect of any play to-day in the third test match. Gilligan and Lowry agreed not to go out to Eden Park before lunch.

There will be no play in the test cricket match to-day between New Zealand and M.C.C.
